9 – Winter’s Heart

9A – Rand is in Carhien at the Academy. Min mentions trips to Tear and Rhuidean.

9B -  Rand and Min return to their horses. It is revealed that Rand has the Choedan’kal.

9C – Abila – Perrin convinces Masema to come with him to Rand. They discuss killing him, but Perrin doesn’t like that idea. Going back to camp, he finds out about Faile being taken. Commence emo. The warders, maidens, and Gaul go searching for Fail and find she has been taken GaiShain. Faile’s PoV reveales that Rolan will help her.

9D – Caemlyn  - Rand and Min sneak into Caemlyn to find Nynaeve, whose help he needs to cleanse Saidin. Min runs off to find Elayne and Abiendha. Rand give the Choeden’Kal to Nynaeve, then goes off to be private with Min, Elayne, and Aviendha. Elayne combines the warder bond with the sister bond and bond him to all 3 of them. Rand spend a night in pound town with Elayne, and she wakes up with him gone. He takes Nynaeve and Alivia(Former da’mane) with him.

9E – Ebou Dar – Mat is up and about again. Planning his escape from the city. He is trying to get Valan Luca’s circus to take him and his friends. He is attacked by the Gholam again, and saved by Noal(Jaim Farstrider). Returning to the palace, he meets Tuon. He  doesn’t know who she is yet, but she is intrigued by him. He also agrees to try and help an Aes Sedai, and a captured Aes Sedai escape. Later, Bayle Domon approaches him to help Eaganin to avoid the seekers. He uses her, as one of the blood, to take the Damane out of the city. He has to tie up Tylin so she isn’t implicated in the escape. Also, he releases a Sea Folk channeler, who will wait to unlock her friends, which will give them a distraction while they leave north of the city. On the way out, Tuon sees him and he and Noal tie her up. She is revealed as the Daughter of Nine Moons, and by accident, Mat says the wedding vows(You are my wife, three times). They take Tuon with them.

9F – Far Madding – Rand goes to the city with Nyanaeve, lan, Min, and Alivia in order to neutralize the use of the one power. He kills one of the renegade Asha’man, and Fain kills a second. Allana, Casuane, and others follow him there. You get a first glimpse into Verin’s dark side, when you find out she has warrants for her arrest. Verin also talks to Rand about Cadsuane, and he agrees to apologies if she will be his advisor. He and Lan then go to kill the other two Asha’man. Fain is there. Lan kills Toram Riatin, but in escaping, he and Lan fall off the roof and are arrested. Cadsuane, Nynaeve, and the Asha’man get him out of jail, but with a short time in the confined space, Rand gets harder.

9G – Rand recovers Callendor, hidden just north of Far Madding, and they travel to Aridol to cleanse the taint on Saidin. He and Nynaeve use the Choden’kal in order to wrap saidin around the evil from Shadar Logoth, to cancel each other out. Several of the forsaken make appearances. Dashiva(Osan’Gar/Aginor) is killed again. Ebin Hopewell is also killed. The Female access key is destroyed in the process.
