10 – Crossroads of Twilight

Literally half this book takes place during the cleansing of Saidin that occurred in the last book. This is probably(Definitly) the worst book in the series, but it is worth pushing through, and the payoff in the final 3 installments makes it worthwhile.

10A – Mat is just north of Ebou Dar with Tuon, several Aes Sedai, and several Damane/sul’dam hiding in the traveling circus. Everyone treats him badly, as is expected, yet he will get them where they need to go. All the channelers, including the Sul’dam tell him they feel something to the north, which is Rand cleansing the taint, though they don’t know that. The circus slowly moves north and it rains a lot. Dice spin, dice stop spinning. Mat tries to be nice to Tuon and she is dismissive and everyone else frowns. 10B – Perrin is in Ghealdean trying to find Faile. They jump around with Asha’man, but that’s slower than walking with their size army. They follow the Shaido east into Altara.

10C – Malden - 40+ miles to the east, Perrin goes to see where the Shaido are. They have thousands of spears, and don’t intend to leave. From Faile’s perspective, you find out she has an escape plan involving Rolan. Everyone in the camp give Perrin a hard time. That is how things work in this book.

10D – Rand, Cadsuane, Nynaeve, Jahar, Flynn, warders, and Aes sedai are in a small estate in eastern Tear. Logain and Bashere come to him. He find outs that Taim ordered the Bonding of Asha’man and Aes Sedai. He plans to get a truce with the Seanchan.  Bashere returns and says the Seanchan may talk truce. Rand is to mee the Daughterof nine moons(Tuon).

10E – So Harbor – Perrin buys goods from ghosts. It’s pretty uneventful. He then goes back to Malden. He chops off a SHaido’s hand, but won’t kill them.

10F - Mat take Tuon shopping. Then, one of the Sul’dam stabs Eaganin and runs away. Mat tracks her down and they shoot her before she can tell on them to Seanchan officials.
