4 – The Shadow Rising
4A - Tear – Everyone is in Tear, Except Min who is in Tar Valon reporting for Suiane. A bubble of evil comes and Perrin’s axe attacks him, as well as Mat’s cards. Berelain sneaks into Rand’s room and it held back while Rand’s mirrors attack him. Perrin and Mat are drawn to Rand and trying to find a place in the pattern. Egwene and Elayne confront Rand and he then starts spending time with Elayne romantically. Lanfear appears and confronts Rand. She offers his Asmodeon and gives clues about the Choden Kal. Shadowspawn attacks the stone. Perrin hears rumors of the Whitecloaks in the two rivers and arrange for him, Faile, Bain, Chiad, Gaul, and Lolial to take the Ways to Manetheran. Mat, Rand, and Moraine all go into the twisted doorway. They tell Mat to go to Rhuidian. Moraine and Rand’s Messages are not specifically given. Rand rounds up the High Lords and sends many of his enemies into Carhien. Then Thrusts the sword into the stone and leave with the Aiel for the Three Fold Land.
4B – Perrin Leaves tear for the Ways, and comes out at the Manetheran Waygate in the mountains of mist. Rand and party find the portal stone, Rand first speaks to Aviendha at the stone. Matt Flips a coin to pick the symbol to us. It was right, they go directly to Chaendehar mountain outside Rhuidean.
4C - The Aiel Waste: Rand, Mat, Egwene, Lan, and Moraine go to the Waste via a portal stone. Rand, Mat, and Moraine all get permission to enter Rhuidean. Rand learns the true history of the Da’Shain Aiel, who were servants to the Aes’Sedai and practiced the Way of the Leaf. The warrior societies were the ones that broke the Way of the Leaf by picking up weapons and killing. This is their sin that was done. One faction of the Aiel split of to become theTua’than, and the rest continued into the waste to create Rhuidean. The Warrior Aiel followed them into the waste because they were protecting the Jenn Aiel(Or true Aiel). That fact was forgotten, except for the wise ones and clan chiefs that go into Rhuidean. Matt goes into another twisted doorway where wishes are granted. He receives his spear “Ashanderai”, the memories of lives past, and the medallion that blocks channeling. Moraine’s exact info is not given, but it is believed that her sacrifice in Carhien(to save Rand from Lanfear) is laid out to her. The Aiel head towards Alcair Dal, and meet the traders. With the traders are disguised Lanfear and Asmodeon. Trollocs attack.
Rand gets to Cold Rocks Hold and it is also attacked by Trollocs. Couladin and the Shaido leave, Rand readies to go to Alcair Dal immediately after Couladin leaves. In alcair Dal, Couladin reveals his fake dragons, and rand his real ones. Rand reveals the truth of the Aiel past as proof he went to Rhuidean.
4D: The Two Rivers: Perrin, Faile, Gaul, Bain, Chad, and Lolial Battle Trollocs in the Ways and make it out to the Manetheran Waygate, which Lolial locks from the outside. They stop by the Al’Thor Farm, it is burned, and head to Emond’s Field. Perrin goes to the Winespring in and finds out that his family is dead. Lord Luc is mentioned, and Slayer is introduced in the wolf dream, as well as Birget Silverbow.
They found Verin and Allana as well as Tam Al’Thor and Abel Cauthon hiding out in the westwood. Perrin and company rescue the Whitecloak captives, and send them back to Emond’s Field. Perin then attacks Trollocs, going back to Emond’s field injured and sustaining losses. Lolial and Gaul close the waygate permanently, and Perrin injures Luc/Slayer in the wolf dream, Luc runs off. Trolloc attacks continue, and thousands are ready to attack Emonds Field. The Final Trolloc attack comes, and they are saved by the Watch Hill and Devon Ride villagers who come to save them.
